Blind Contour Watercolor

Descrition:

For a low-stress project, we did a one day lesson on blind contour drawings with a twist!  Not only was it a blind contour, we also colored them all in based on our personality and interests.
Process:

To begin, we learned what a blind contour drawing is.  We then learned more about color psychology to see which two colors we identify with the MOST.

We then set up our watercolor paper on the backs of our sketch books using masking tape.  After that we took a mirror and a marker to begin our self portrait blind contour drawings using one line only.

Once that was finished, we used one color/many shades to create our face, and one color/many shades to create our background and finished it up with at least 3 watercolor techniques that we had learned in class previously!
